GENERAL RULES

News Trading

• You may hold trades and trade during news events. Simply avoid opening, closing or adding to positions within 3 minutes before or after any high impact news release or speech, as that can be identified as excessive risk. this applies to all programs (Ability Challenge, Ability One, FTP(instant funding)
• Violation is a hard Breach

Expert Advisors (EAs)

• EAs are allowed if they follow prohibited-strategy rules and are not sourced from third-party signals.

Scalping Rule

• Scalping is allowed. However, if most or all trades are closed within two minutes or less or those resembling arbitrage are prohibited and may lead to action from the Risk Team.

Copy Trading

• Copy trading is allowed between your own accounts within Audacity Capital. Copying from an external account is allowed only if the account belongs to you. Third-party copying is not permitted.

Inactivity Rule

• Both Ability accounts (all stages) and the Funded Trader Program (Instant Funding) have a 6-month inactivity period. No trade within this period will result to account breach.

Weekend Holding/Trading (Crypto)

Max Lot Limit

• There are no overall lot size restrictions on the account, but each individual open position is limited to a maximum of 10 lots as a risk management measure by the provider.

VPN/VPS Policy

• VPN use is generally prohibited due to IP tracking and server misuse risks, but may be allowed with valid justification and approval. VPS use is permitted for running EAs, provided it doesn’t cause server abuse.
